We’ve been in business for over 40 years. In that time, we have grown from processing a few hundred deer to several thousand. We strive to service your processing needs any way possible. We are a custom processor and can do most any cut of meat requested.
Herman Meyer, owner and operator of Midway Food Market and Processing is a hunter himself and personally supervises every aspect of the operation. During your next trip to Midway, a stop in the office to view some of his trophies is a treat for any hunter.

During the past several years we have gone to a computer generated billing program that allows our customers to see exactly the amount of sausage and cuts of meat that were ordered. This billing is mailed out as soon as the processing on your animal has been completed, in most cases within 10 days. Due to limited freezer space, your order must be picked up within 7 days of this notice, or call us to make other arrangements. We cannot hold orders over 30 days of the date the animal was dropped off for processing.

georgeGeorgios Panagiotis (George) Karvounis, a loving father and wonderful husband, was born on March 27, 1962 in Nafpaktos, Greece. He passed away on Monday, September 22, 2003 at home in Katy at the age of 41.

He is survived by his wife, Trish Karvounis; his daughter, Yanna Karvounis; his son, George Karvounis; parents, Pete and Giannoula Karvounis; brother and sisters: Bobbie Karvounis and wife Renee, Tasia Xintari and husband Chris, and Fotula Vellios and husband Costas; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Herman Meyer and Bobbie Meyer; and nieces and nephews, Tommy Xintaris, Jenny Xintaris, Lina Vellios, and John Vellios.
